The FX Maverick Compact features even more revolutionary technology that pushes the envelope of what you can do with an airgun. The designers at FX decided to focus on how to improve performance in general, and specifically when shooting the increasingly popular heavier pellets and slugs. This model is shorter and weighs less than the other versions of the Maverick, so it's easier for you to maneuver in the field but still gives you the same upgrades and innovations. The biggest new features everyone will be talking about are the dual externally adjustable AMP regulators and the larger 89cc power plenum, which is the largest FX has ever put on an airgun. The regulators work together, with the first regulator taking some of the strain off the second regulator to give you smooth, powerful, and consistent shots. All of that new power from the larger plenum is enabled by reworked ports and valves for consistent strength, and then channeled into the legendary Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) barrel and liner system that can be customized for the ammo and shooting type you want. The rifle also gives you the features you love from FX, like dual pressure gauges, a 2 stage adjustable match trigger, and the rear external power adjuster. With the Maverick, you get a tactical body with an FX textured AR grip, all new FX buttpad, and the possibility of swapping in aftermarket parts for extra customization. The 3 Picatinny accessory rails let you add lights, lasers, or bipods, and the Picatinny scope rail on top has a 20 MOA angle built in to give you better long distance accuracy.

The FX Maverick Sniper is an air rifle carefully planned from the start to improve shooting performance when using heavier pellets and slugs without losing the performance and accuracy you've come to expect. The FX Maverick VP is a great value edition of the bold airgun line that was created with an eye focused on enhancing the performance of shooting with heavier slugs and pellets while keeping accuracy and performance for normal ammo. True to their nature, FX added features the market hasn't seen before to meet their goals.
The VP version of this airgun gives you a longer barrel that generates more power and velocity than the Compact model, plus a larger air cylinder to give you more shots.
The Maverick gives you excellent consistency across shots, along with more power than similar FX models. How? FX added a second externally adjustable AMP regulator for incredibly steady velocity, and the largest power plenum they've ever used, a whopping 89cc. The first regulator controls the air pressure first, so that the second has an easier job giving you the velocity you want, shot after shot.

The Panthera Hunter Compact is available in calibers .177 thru .30 using a shortened FX Smooth Twist X Superior barrel (300mm barrel in .177 & .22 cal / 380mm in .25 cal / 395mm in .30 cal). The two smaller calibers use the 62cc Macro Plenum while the .25 & .30 cal barrels utilize a new 100cc Macro XL Plenum. The Hunter Compact comes with a 300cc carbon fiber bottle located in the front of the rifle to give great balancewhen shooting the rifle off-hand. It comes with a standard AR grip, full picatinny top rail with 20 MOA built in, and a rear stock with adjustable length of pull and adjustable cheek piece as standard.
Shooters can further tailor their rifle with accessories such as the FX Dynamic DoubleAir Adapter Kit which can add the addition of a 300cc carbon fiber bottle to the rear stock allowing a higher shot count. Users can even move the existing 300cc bottle to the back and place a 480cc or 580cc bottle at the front for a massive amount of air!
Additional accessories are also being released to tailor fit your rifle including the Dynamic Compact Length Arca Rail (can be added when configured with the bottle in the rear) and the FX Dynamic Side Accessory Pic Rail. Also being released is the new FX Dynamic AR Folding Stock adapter. This allows a standard AR buffer tube and butt stock to be affixed to the rifle, reducing the overall length of the rifle when folded to just 20” in length!
