The designers at FX decided to focus on how to improve performance in general, and specifically when shooting the increasingly popular heavier pellets and slugs. This model is shorter and weighs less than the other versions of the Maverick, so it's easier for you to maneuver in the field but still gives you the same upgrades and innovations. The biggest new features everyone will be talking about are the dual externally adjustable AMP regulators and the larger 89cc power plenum, which is the largest FX has ever put on an airgun. The regulators work together, with the first regulator taking some of the strain off the second regulator to give you smooth, powerful, and consistent shots. All of that new power from the larger plenum is enabled by reworked ports and valves for consistent strength, and then channeled into the legendary Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) barrel and liner system that can be customized for the ammo and shooting type you want. The rifle also gives you the features you love from FX, like dual pressure gauges, a 2 stage adjustable match trigger, and the rear external power adjuster. With the Maverick, you get a tactical body with an FX textured AR grip, all new FX buttpad, and the possibility of swapping in aftermarket parts for extra customization. True to their nature, FX added features the market hasn't seen before to meet their goals. The VP version of this airgun gives you a longer barrel that generates more power and velocity than the Compact model, plus a larger air cylinder to give you more shots. The Maverick gives you excellent consistency across shots, along with more power than similar FX models. How? FX added a second externally adjustable AMP regulator for incredibly steady velocity, and the largest power plenum they've ever used, a whopping 89cc. The first regulator controls the air pressure first, so that the second has an easier job giving you the velocity you want, shot after shot. This air rifle also gives you the same features that have made FX so popular, including the 2 stage adjustable match trigger, butter smooth sidelever, dual pressure gauges, and the rear external power knob with 7 macro presets and fine tuning through the hole on the 8th adjuster position. The pin probe is compatible with .22 caliber versions of these air rifles, and .25 & .30 caliber versions with the included sleeve and O-rings, and allows fine-tuning that facilitates maximum accuracy. FX ANGLED MANOMETER BRACKET Competition and benchrest shooter rely on their rifle to operate at peak performance. The FX Angled Manometer Bracket allows M3 owners the ability to have their second regulator gauge angled back where they can easily monitor their working regulator pressure. The FX Impact M3 was built with the ability to move the regulator gauge from its standard position underneath the back block, to an angled position on the right side of the main block. Perfectly positioned to read with- out the need to break your cheek weld. The angled bracket comes with a plug allowing you to move the existing FX Wika Gauge from the rear position to this new 45° angled position. The bracket is also popularly paired with the FX Keller Digital Manometer for an even higher level of accuracy and feedback.
